Paula has been weaving, spinning, knitting and dabbling in other fiber related arts since 1998. She focuses on weaving with floor looms, especially Swedish countermarch looms counterbalance looms, and drawlooms. She is passionate about teaching aspiring weavers solid basic skills, learning how to warp and weave efficiently to make their journey into weaving a pleasurable endeavor.
Michele Belson, weaver, stitcher, business owner, teacher, and general Lunatic has been playing with bits of string and cloth for more than half a century. She weaves, sews, knits, knots, dyes, but more importantly, she teaches. Michele loves nothing more than sharing her love of all things fiber. Co-Owner of Lunatic Fringe Yarns, she helps design and use kits and projects to teach while her customers aren’t even looking! Students enjoy her ‘no student left behind’ style.
Natalie Drummond is an educator and fiber artisan living in Fremont, Indiana. Earlier work focused on sewing and needle felting. She later learned to weave from a Fort Wayne Weaver’s Guild instructor. Fine Arts instruction in Craftmanship and Design from Purdue (Fort Wayne) University followed in 2015. Continual learning in weaving expanded from classes at the John C Campbell Folk School, The Mannings, Red Stone Glen, Island Fiberwork Retreats, Midwest, MAFA, and Convergence conferences.
